Can I take a surf lesson ? ( conditions of fitness, age...)
At Seawa Surf School Le Porge, you can start surfing from the age of 6 to 99 year old. You need to be able to swim, and get out of the water every time you fall in the water. No other requierement is needed, it’s super accessible.
What about the surf spot in le Porge ?
Le Porge ocean is a surf spot located between le Cap Ferret and Lacanau. Only one hour from Bordeaux, Le Porge is one of the best spots of gironde.
This beach break offers high quality sand banks that makes great waves all year along.
However this spot is less crowded than lacanau : so there is more space for surfing and more waves for you !
Finally the location is special, its a protected natural area, which makes it charming, you will definitly spend a magical experience.
When should you book your lesson at Seawa surf school ?
We recommend you to book your lesson as soon as you know which dates you are able to come. In fact high season of summer we get fully booked and often people struggle to find a lesson in the surf schools in the area.

How can I go to Seawa surf school from Bordeaux ?
To get to Seawa surf school Le porge you can :
1. Get by car or covoiturage (1 hour driving). At the the beach round about take left direction «SUD» ! We are all the way to the end of the south parking.
2. Take the 701 bus Bordeaux – Le porge : departures all week along and week-ends to Camping de la Grigne for 2,30 euros for one way.
